There is the Heritage City Walk, explaining the history of Invercargill while guiding you along the streets and through the parks.

The famous Queens Park Gardens, a must to stroll about and view the well maintained gardens and sculptures, find your way to the cafe for a refreshing break. Golf course, Disc golf, child’s playground and petting zoo.

Kelly’s Lap, a loop around the city fringe, can be run, walked or cycled. passes cafes and toilets. (4 hr walk, 1.30hr bike ride)

Estuary boardwalk, a lovely stroll to catch the sunrise or sunset. (4.7km)
